The Carpenters Arms Restaurant in Pontypool

At The Carpenters Arms you can always be sure of a warm welcome, carefully kept real ales both local and national, delicious wines and of course freshly cooked locally sourced food. We are situated less than a mile from Llandegveth reservoir car parks, and are the perfect place to come from a drink and some food if visiting the area for many of the numerous outdoor activities. Over the years we've had people running, walking, cycling, fishing, windsurfing, sailing and horse riding to name but a few dropping in on us or a recharge. In fact last summer a few chaps arrived in full Roman fancy dress pulling a customised Roman cart with their bikes. The funniest part was the argument over who got to ride in the cart when they came to leave!
