The Brewery Tap was our first pub so it will always be a bit special to us. It is a unique Victorian curved building dating back to 1862 and sits on the banks of the river Derwent. After being shut for 2 years we managed to save it from the clutches of the bulldozers and it then went on the win Derby Camra pub of The Year.
The Brewery Tap combines high Victorian ceilings and imposing windows with exposed brickwork and original wooden floors to create a great pub. There is also a purpose build smoking barn, courtyard and roof terrace overlooking the river, perfect for those fleeting summer months.
We pride ourselves in offering 10 real ales on hand pull, showcasing 5 of our own ales and 5 guest ales. Not to mention a fantastic selection of lagers, wines, spirits and ciders and world beers, there is something for everyone including our legendary racks.
