The Romans also settled camp, dedicating themselves to fishing and the salt industry of the fish. There are several archeological findings next to the Fort S. Joao do Arade that prove these settlements.

Each housing is developed on the 2 floors and consist of living room, kitchen, bedroom and a sanitary installation on the lower floor and the remaining rooms with private sanitary facilities and terraces. Each house has on the basement floor parking lot for two cars, technical areas, laundry and storage. All the houses are facing the sea and have an exclusive outdoor garden area ensuring a comfortable level of privacy.

The common swimming pool is located in a valley area, with a more introverted character, protected from the winds and the exterior views, an surrounded by the natural beauty of the land and its surrounding landscape. The existing housing, along with the eira and is surroundings is recovered as a memory to the previous settlements.
