Agents Details: The concept for Zest emerged in 2008 when I relocated from London to Bath and visited several Estate Agents and Letting Agents. Not only did I need to buy and sell, I also needed to rent and also invest so I got to experience things from all sides of the fence; a prospective buyer, seller, investor, landlord and tenant. The service I experienced across all the agents I visited was either tired, lazy, arrogant, poor or ineffective – it was mediocre at best. When I walked into their offices I felt like I was intruding on their space; an unwelcome hindrance. I was made to feel like I should feel lucky because they were even willing to talk with me… and they knew best. In short, it was my experience that many Estate Agents spent much of their energy on what was convenient to them, their staff, and what feeds their profits, rather than making it about their clients’ convenience, experience and profit. I questioned what they stood for?
