THE RED LION
The Red Lion Logo
There has been a Red Lion pub on this site since 1434, but the present building dates to 1900. Long associated with Parliament, every Prime Minister up to Edward Heath has popped in for a drink after work, and The Red Lion also featured in the childhood of Charles Dickens, the formation of the unions and has been the scene of much political intrigue over the years.
