Santa Margalida is a municipality with a population of 10,204 located in the northeast of the Spanish Balearic island Majorca. The residents are divided over three settlement areas, the principal one being Santa Margalida, 10 km inland from the coast.



Santa Margalida is a small inland town in the northeast of the central region of Mallorca called Pla de Mallorca. its also the name of the municipality which includes the popular beach resort, Can Picafort, and the virgin beach of Son Serra de Marina
