The nearest town by car is Lugagnano Val DArda and it is our commune (town hall and administration centre). It has a supermarket (Coop) numerous shops/bars and banks and a very good market every Friday. It is 15 mins away.

The nearest medieval town is CastellArquato. This is a popular tourist destination with Italians and every year they hold a car race called The Silver Flag which attracts all sorts of old cars from all over the world. There are lots of very good restaurants there, banks, a large supermarket and a hotel. It is 15 mins away.

We have two favourite restaurants one is only a few minutes drive away in a small village called Magnano - Trattoria Biasini. People drive from Milan to eat here. The pasta is to die for! Very rustic. The other one is called Da Faccini - this is about 10mins away and more sophisticated dining. A big hit with all our friends.

The vendors would consider selling the house with the majority of the furniture - so the house would be ready to move into or rent.
